This is my new page which will be dedicated to metal casting and all things related. There isn't much there at this time, but I'm working on it. I have already done a few castings, but I won't be posting until I have enough to properly debut the page.

If the theme of this doesn't appeal to you, I understand and accept that, but please don't flame me or raise debates. This is strictly for the art aspect.

Once this is in full swing, I won't be coming back here that much...if at all. Yep, change is good.

I hope this finds everyone in good health and spirits.

In spite of my current workload, I'm still managing to create master moulds. I want to have a handful to debut on the new, upcoming page. To say the least, it is going to be an about face in relation to anything I have done in the past. The theme may turn many away, but that's the way it goes. I'm willing to take a few chances and it corresponds with a new life path.....or perhaps a very old path, rekindled.

In the meantime, I am off to Victoria for a week. The first holiday I have had in almost four years....and well overdue. I fully expect to start casting upon my return.

Hang in there.....it's coming.

A while back I announced a new line of creations to come. That is still true, but they won't be the same creations I was working on at the time.

My daughter and I were going to make cosplay swords from casting resin and the few we did make looked promising. That is until we discovered we couldn't properly vent the work room and resin fumes were too strong for this environment (we manage an apartment building).

So fast forward to the present. I have been practising sculpting and wax carving and the end result will be products casted in pewter, bronze and silver; some may be offered in 14k gold (this will depend on available supplies through local dealers). At least the casting process can be done outdoors and only takes a short time to produce an item.

I'm very optimistic about this and I can't wait for decent weather to get started.

Lastly, I will be setting up a new account to display these products as they have nothing to do with the themes represented on this page. Naturally I will post a link to the new page once all is in order.

I sincerely hope this finds you all in good health and spirits. Take care.

Greetings fellow artists!

Life often takes us astray and down new and exciting paths. I won't bore you with the events of the past several years of my absence but I will say, I will be returning shortly with the same, slightly older face and some new products. I hope this update finds you all well and in good spirits.

So what happened? How did I become a slave to the machine? As I gaze at the dust settled on my copper, fabrics and tools, I wonder how my life became so unbalanced. What's worse is, how can those I serve justify making such demands on my time and personal resources? The images that have emerged from the depths of my imagination merely rest upon the cerebral shelf also collecting the dust of resentment. So tired and unfulfilled I don't know who I am these days. The death of an artist? Or is most of our society dying in this manner?
