Sylvari Wings by joharasaluki Sylvari Wings by joharasaluki
Here are the wings at long last. 6' wingspan. Fur glued to felt feathers mounted to a wire armature. This will eventually be attached to a corset to complete the suit.

TY! This suit is heading to the U.S. so I hope the owner will send me some pics to post. Or, I just might have to get someone to model it here.

$350 cdn
These required more materials and time than my heads and I charge $300 for those, so I figure this is a fair price.

It is a very fair price but alas I think the freight would be the killer :(

Thanks....they didn't turn out too bad for a first attempt, but I will make some minor changes if I'm commissioned to make another pair.

Lol I don't think I could that good on like a tenth attempt. Wings just defeat me.

Right now, my biggest challenge is how to mount them onto the corset.

Um the only way I've ever seen it done was that there was like pockets in the back and the wings had a sort of upside down u shaped hook that attached to the corset. The only other way I've seen was they were glued/stitched/built on the corset itself. However I don't think either of those is very helpful to you. ><

Some good ideas there. I might have to beef it up a bit, these are quite heavy as wings go.

But if you can take an idea and make it work it'll totally be worth it. I have faith that you'll find a solution that looks great and is very functional.
