You know....that's what I thought after assembling this. It's an abstract rendition of the picture she provided and I had a different vision in mind of how this was going to look...close....but yes, a mohawk does come to mind. I'm hoping that after completing the rest of the project, the background and frame will limit this effect.............downside; enhance it. Stay tuned.
As far as the body goes....I achieved quite a bit of detail that doesn't show up in the photo.....not bad for a first attempt, this is not the easiest stuff to work with. It'll chip, crack and break at the slightest stroke if not approached properly....especially when working around edges and finer details like legs and noses. This is actually the second body....my air chisel broke the first.
