Well Christina dahhhlin'...at long last, I have completed this...I hope it was worth the wait.
I strived for an antique look. I used several methods to give the copper area the 'worn' look. The letters are pine which I cut on the scroll saw. These take up more of the negative space I spoke of earlier and looks far better than the printed letters. I just have one more clear coat to add, then, if this meets your approval, can be shipped out.
As for time....I lost track around 12 hours.....whatever it was, I really enjoyed making this.

I like this very much. It is inspiring me to create something similar in quartersawn white oak as a frame to one of my "Haunted Forest series ... " stoneware landscape tiles. I will not copy your work, but use your original piece as a visual inspiration.
